Sea moss is a type of algae also known as Irish Sea moss (Chondrus Crispus) or Caribbean sea moss (Eucheuma Cottinii ). It's mostly harvested for it's carrageenan, an ingredient used to thicken milk products like ice cream, but is also available in its raw form as a supplement. It boasts 92 vitamins and minerals in its raw form and has been proven to contribute to overall health when taken responsibly.
